LEARNING SUPPORT TEACHER (SEN)

We are seeking to appoint for September 2008, an innovative and experienced SEN teacher to work in our new Learning Support base for two days a week teaching students with a range of learning difficulties. Based in the Learning Support classroom, in addition to an extensive range of resources, you would have an interactive white board and suite of computers to support your teaching.
We are looking for an excellent, committed practitioner to support students and develop their basic skills thus enabling them to fully access the curriculum. This is a new post, following the expansion of our learning support provision, and would suit an experienced, well qualified teacher. Some experience of teaching in the primary sector may be an advantage but is not essential.
Salary: Main scale. A bursary may be available for an appropriately qualified candidate.
